Choose by pier. The Seattle Marriott Waterfront and The Edgewater are a 4 and 5 minute walk from Pier 66. No hotel is within walking distance of Pier 91, so stay in Lower Queen Anne, about 10 minutes away by car, or at a hotel that runs a cruise shuttle.

Where to stay depends on which of Seattle's two terminals your ship uses. The Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 is on the downtown waterfront, and more than a dozen hotels are a walk from it. The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 is at the north end of the waterfront in Interbay, where we found no hotels at all. Check which terminal your line uses before you book a room.
The table above has every hotel we checked: 12 downtown, 13 in Lower Queen Anne, Seattle Center, South Lake Union and Ballard, and 9 near Sea-Tac airport. We only list hotels whose own website we could read, and what we say about a shuttle, a package or parking comes from that website as it read on 27 October 2026. The walking and driving times are ours, measured on OpenStreetMap from each hotel's address to the terminal building, because the hotels' own figures don't agree with each other. A few well-known hotels are missing, including Hotel Ändra and the Hyatt hotels, because their websites blocked our checks.
Sailing from Pier 66
Norwegian, Oceania and Silversea sail from Pier 66 on the port's 2027 schedule. The Seattle Marriott Waterfront, across Alaskan Way, is a 4-minute walk from the terminal, and The Edgewater on Pier 67 is 5 minutes. Seventeen of the hotels in the table are within a 25-minute walk. The Pier 66 hotels guide lists them in order of distance.
Sailing from Pier 91
Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, MSC, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages use Pier 91. The closest hotels are in Lower Queen Anne, where the MarQueen, Homewood Suites and the Mediterranean Inn are 9 or 10 minutes from the terminal by car. Downtown hotels are 12 to 14 minutes away. The port says no public transit reaches Pier 91, so plan on a shuttle, a taxi or a rideshare. The Pier 91 hotels guide has the 14 closest.
Is there a hotel with a free cruise shuttle?
Not among the hotels we checked. Seven run or arrange a ride to the piers, and those with a published price charge $10 to $25 a person. The Belltown Inn and the Mediterranean Inn charge $10, the Mayflower Park $15, and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at Sea-Tac $25. Most go one way, from the hotel to the pier. Flying in the day before?
Sea-Tac airport hotels are about 25 minutes from Pier 66 and 35 minutes from Pier 91 by car without traffic. The port allows 30 to 40 minutes from the airport to either terminal. An airport hotel makes sense after a late flight, and several sell one night with up to a week of parking. Only the Holiday Inn Express & Suites lists a shuttle to the piers. Parking while you cruise
The city hotels price parking by the night, from $25 at Hotel Ballard to $75 at the Four Seasons, and none we checked publishes a rate for leaving a car for the length of a cruise. Each terminal has its own official car park: the Bell Street Pier garage across from Pier 66, and the lot at Pier 91 with a free shuttle to the terminal. The parking guide has the rates.
After the cruise
If you fly home the day you get off the ship, you may not need a hotel at all. The port's Port Valet takes checked bags from the ship to your airline if you enroll in time, and the airport guide covers the rides to Sea-Tac.
