Hotels near Pier 91 in Seattle

The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal is at Pier 91, 2001 West Garfield Street, at the north end of Seattle's waterfront. On the port's 2027 schedule Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, MSC, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages sail from it. Unlike Pier 66, it isn't near any hotel, and the port says no public transit reaches it. So the useful question is which hotel makes the ride to the ship easiest.

Is there a hotel near Pier 91?

Not within walking distance. We found no hotels in Interbay or Magnolia, the neighborhoods around the terminal. The nearest on foot is Homewood Suites in Lower Queen Anne, a 40-minute walk on our measurement, followed by the MarQueen at 41 minutes and the Mediterranean Inn at 43. With luggage, plan on a ride.

The closest hotels to Pier 91 by car

Lower Queen Anne is the nearest hotel district. The MarQueen, at 600 Queen Anne Avenue North, and Homewood Suites, at 206 Western Avenue West, are 9 minutes from the terminal by car without traffic, and the Mediterranean Inn, at 425 Queen Anne Avenue North, is 10.

Around Seattle Center, the Four Points by Sheraton, the Hampton Inn & Suites and The Maxwell are 11 minutes away. The Maxwell gives its own figure as an 8-minute drive and suggests a rideshare to the terminal.

Downtown and Belltown hotels are 12 to 14 minutes away. They're the better choice if you want an evening near Pike Place Market before the cruise, at the cost of a slightly longer morning ride.

Hotels with a shuttle to Pier 91

None of these is free, and most only run from the hotel to the pier.

• The Mediterranean Inn: $10 a person to Pier 91 or Pier 66. Sign up at check-in. The hotel doesn't publish pick-up times.
• The MarQueen Hotel: arranges a ride to either pier through a local partner, and you pay the shuttle company directly. No price is published.
• The Belltown Inn: $10 a person to either pier, booked at check-in.
• The Mayflower Park Hotel: $15 a guest for the 2026 season, one way. The hotel says there's no return shuttle from the terminal.
• The State Hotel: a one-way ride for two to or from either pier, but only as part of its Cruise, Stay & Explore package.

Getting to Pier 91 without a shuttle

From Lower Queen Anne a taxi or rideshare is a short ride. The terminal has its own rideshare lot, and a free cell phone waiting lot for whoever is collecting you after the cruise. Rideshare companies don't publish a fixed fare.

Parking at Pier 91

The terminal has its own lot, run by USP Parking, with a free shuttle from the lot to the terminal. That is usually simpler than paying a hotel by the night: Lower Queen Anne hotels charge $36 at the Mediterranean Inn's garage to $50 for the MarQueen's valet, and none we checked publishes a rate for the length of a cruise.
