Where to stay depends on which pier you sail from. The Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 is on the downtown waterfront, so a hotel near it can be a walk from the ship. The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 is at the north end of the waterfront, and we found no hotel near it that says anything about the terminal on its own site, so for Pier 91 the choice is a downtown or Queen Anne hotel and a ride to the ship. Check which terminal your line uses first.
This list only includes hotels whose own websites say something about the cruise terminals. Distances and walking times are the hotels' own figures, and prices are as each hotel listed them on 23 October 2026.
Near Pier 66, for Norwegian and Oceania
The Edgewater, Pier 67, 2411 Alaskan Way. The closest hotel on this list: it says it is 0.2 miles from the Pier 66 terminal, and 2.6 miles from Pier 91. It has no free shuttle, though guest services can book private transport at extra cost. For cruise passengers it says to "Call us for special cruise rates" on 206-728-7000, without publishing a rate. On 23 October 2026 overnight valet parking was $66 a night, and the hotel charged a taxable daily amenities fee of $34 a room.
Hotel FIVE, 2200 Fifth Avenue. Says Pier 66 is a 12-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away, and Pier 91 about a 10-minute drive. Its cruise page doesn't mention a shuttle or package.
Kimpton Palladian, 2000 Second Avenue. Gives Pier 66 as 1.0 mile, about a 5-minute drive, and Pier 91 as 3.2 miles, about 12 minutes. No cruise shuttle is listed.
Belltown Inn, 2301 Third Avenue, and the Warwick Seattle, 401 Lenora Street, both say they are within walking distance of the waterfront where cruises leave, without giving a distance.
The hotels' own figures don't all line up. Hotel FIVE, on Fifth Avenue, quotes a 12-minute walk to Pier 66, while the Palladian, on Second Avenue, says 1.0 mile. Treat walking times as a rough guide, especially with luggage.
The port says there is a ground transportation lot directly in front of the Pier 66 terminal for taxis, shuttles and drop-offs, and same-day luggage storage at $6 a bag if your hotel checkout is early and boarding is late.
Hotels with their own cruise shuttles
These hotels run, or book, a shuttle to both terminals, which matters most if you're sailing from Pier 91.
Mayflower Park Hotel, 405 Olive Way. Runs scheduled shuttles to Pier 66 and Pier 91. Its cruise page gave the price as $15 a guest for the 2026 season on 23 October 2026, although its FAQ on the same page still says 2025. The shuttle is one way only, from the hotel to the terminal. Reserve it with the bellman. The hotel gives the distances as 1 mile to Pier 66 and 3.2 miles to Pier 91, and it does not offer long-term parking for cruise passengers. It also has a cruise package with a $25 food and drink credit.
Mediterranean Inn, 425 Queen Anne Avenue North. Runs a shuttle to both terminals for $10 a person, as listed on 23 October 2026. You sign up at check-in, not in advance. For the day you get off the ship it lists flat rates from the pier to the airport: $78 for 1 to 3 passengers, $105 for 4 to 6, and $25 a person for 7 or more.
MarQueen Hotel, 600 Queen Anne Avenue North. Arranges transport to either terminal through a local partner, and you pay the shuttle company directly. It doesn't publish a price, and it has no airport shuttle.
If you're flying in on sailing day instead
If you skip the hotel, the airport guide covers transfers from Sea-Tac. Princess and Virgin Voyages both suggest flying in a day early, and a night downtown leaves room for a late flight.
